FirePro UK Presentations Raise Awareness

Fire hazards can emerge where we least expect them. In fact, some of the most significant risks are found in areas often overlooked in traditional fire assessments. While certain environments may not typically be considered high-risk, the consequences of fire, whether due to malfunction or even arson, can be severe and costly. FirePro’s advanced fire suppression technology is designed to protect critical assets across a broad range of applications, including those often underestimated.  

FirePro UK has recently identified a growing concern in public buildings across the UK, particularly hospitals and universities, where an increasing number of hot food vending machines are being installed in communal areas and, in some cases, within designated fire escape routes. While these machines provide convenience and accessibility, they also introduce elevated fire risks, both electrical and combustible, which are often ignored. 

Taking a proactive approach, Tony Hanley, Managing Director of FirePro UK, has been actively raising awareness of these emerging risks. His recent presentation outlines both ‘soft’, zero-cost risk mitigation strategies, as well as engineered fallback solutions using FirePro's environmentally friendly fire suppression systems. 

Over the past three weeks, this message has been shared through a series of presentations, which were well-received at the National Association of Fire Officers, the Fire Industry Association’s FSM Expo, and the Fire Evacuation Symposium at King’s College London. 

These engagements underscore FirePro UK’s commitment to forward-thinking fire safety, identifying hidden risks, delivering practical solutions, and helping to safeguard people, infrastructure, and operations before issues escalate.
